What is MP 25 resin?
MP 25 is a type of BASF laroflex VC-COPOLYMER resin. So far, iSuoChem's equivalent code is CMP25.
Compared with other chlorinated MP resins, MP25 is named because its viscosity value is 25 mPa.s (at 23℃ in 20% solution in toluene).
Can VC-COPOLYMER MP25 be used in coatings?
Laroflex MP 25 can be used in heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, such as container, ship and industrial coatings.
Laroflex MP 25 resin has many advantages, including excellent water resistance, salt resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, resistance to oxidative degradation, resistance to atmospheric aging of the coating, excellent light resistance, resistance to yellowing and powdering, and the ether bonds in the composition have intrinsic properties.
Plasticity: The coating is flexible enough without adding additional plasticizers and will not become brittle due to the migration of plasticizers.
How it works?
1. Prepare tools and raw materials: Prepare chloroether resin MP25, curing agent, diluent, mixer, container and other tools and raw materials.
2. Mixing ratio: Mix chloroether resin MP25 with raw materials such as curing agent and diluent according to the ratio provided by the manufacturer.
3. Stir...: Use a stirrer to fully stir the mixed ingredients evenly to ensure there are no impurities and bubbles.
4. Coating: Apply the stirred chloroether resin MP25 to the surface that needs to be protected. You can use brushing, spraying, etc.
5. Curing: Wait for the chloroether resin MP25 coating to dry naturally or cure according to the manufacturer's recommended method.
